The Best Foods For Leftovers

In this article I'm going to go over some of the best foods for leftovers since leftovers are a perfect solution for letting food waste. This article is just my personal opinions for foods so it isn't anything official. I am a huge eater so that's a little more credibility to my words if anything. Without further ado, lets hop right into the best foods for leftovers.

The top of my list would have to be spaghetti made with sausage instead of ground beef. You can cook the noodles in a huge batch and then the sauce separately and store them separately. They come out perfectly when you microwave them together in a plastic container like those Glad containers. I’ve used this several times for meals for work and just supplemented this dish with some cookies and a cup of ramen. Like I’ve said before I eat A LOT in most cases and it’s a bit of a problem of mine.

As for another dish that is one of the best foods for leftovers, I would say that Beef stew would be right up on the list. Specifically I would say a recipe that includes onions and potatoes because those are fairly inexpensive and make for great nutrition. If you put a good chunk of rice in with the stew in a Glad container then it will usually soak up all the liquid part of the stew into the rice and make it a filling meal for when your at work. I use this at least weekly at my place of work and seriously enjoy the entire rice portion while on my lunch.

The final part I have to suggest is stir fry. The longer you allow it to soak up the juices from frying everything the tastier it becomes. There sometimes isn’t much grease or juice left if you go with egg-fried rice, but if you go with a beef-based recipe you will end up with something utterly amazing!

That’s my list of best foods for leftovers! I hope this article helps you out a good amount and gives you some ideas, but just leave a comment down below if you know of any other ideas for good leftovers!
