To Become Self-Sufficient, There’s One Necessary Item

I’ve been going on about becoming self-sufficient and making sure that everything you have in your house is safe for your family. I haven’t mentioned much on the best methods to reach that self-sufficient point yet though. One of the hands-down best ways to achieve this self-sufficiency is owning a greenhouse. A greenhouse will allow you to get your gardening going without having to worry about neighborhood animals coming in and getting to your harvest before you do. It also allows you to have your garden a bit before and after the actual gardening seasons started or ended. It protects all your yearly efforts and starts a personalized biome for them as well.

I personally have been looking at the Abba Patio Walk-In greenhouse for myself and been pouring over it's reviewing online. I’ve seen a lot of them going for either the worst greenhouse possible or the best one yet. Then after going through about 30 of them, I noticed that with the 1-star ratings, the greenhouse appeared to be left out all year round. A lot of the 5-star rankings have mentioned that building this greenhouse and take-down is a hassle but that it’s absolutely worth it. The 1-star ratings seem to only complain about the outer layer ‘disintegrating’ during the year, and I understand why. This is meant to be in a shaded area with a lot of care given to it as well.

Beyond the yearly build and take-down at the end of the season, I would definitely have to say that I’m going to be getting this greenhouse once the next gardening season comes around and pouring a good chunk of my money into it and also getting it all decked out with tables and, if it allows, hanging tomato plants!

  1. Great write up, definitely going to look more into the Abba Patio Walk-In greenhouse - I've looked at a few on Amazon, but this one looks hard to beat, especially for the price.
