A few tips on having a healthy and green home

There’s a number of things anyone can do to make sure that their family is only eating the best and in the safest environment possible. These days there are a number of horrible things that are included in foods, cleaning products and in things like air fresheners. There’s a number of things to avoid, the first being things that have high-fructose corn syrup. A lot of sauces and dressings have this already in the packaging like gum, syrup and sodas especially. This has lately been considered a very unhealthy form of sugars that are naturally found or harvested.

With cleaning, all that is really needed to clean a house is dishwashing soap, vinegar,, baking soda and water! There’s plenty of housecleaning products that boasts about being for heavy-duty cleaning and in all honesty, they are usually dead on. They aren’t meant to be used in the house where the chemicals are ingested everyday. Some of these chemicals are horrible to be around on a daily basis like ammonia. With baking soda and vinegar, you’re actually able to even take stains and old use from the bottom of frying pans and make them look like they’re brand new again!

Also, try avoiding using air fresheners or scents for indoors. In my personal case, I use incense instead since it’s burning any chemicals before the scent is inhaled and it sticks around a lot longer than the regular spray incense. Another options to using air fresheners is getting oil burners and using essential oils instead of what you can usually find in most stores.
